Some great and unique styles are coming in for the next couple of seasons. The trends can be best described as natural but edgy, with strong lines and some, with a hint of bohemian accents from our dear beloved 60s. Here are some of the most popular trends shown on the biggest magazines and runways, just hover on the images to see where they are from.

CROPPED TROUSERS
These cropped pants are at an unusual length either reaching the ankle at its narrowest point or even higher, mid-shin, best way to match these types of trousers are by wearing gorgeous boots as seen below on Kendall Jenner or with flats (which are also very in for spring/summer).
SUITS
Suits were quite big for 2014 and it seems like this trend is here to stay for S/S 2015, lucky for us. Wear trousers for the cooler days and high-waisted shorts for when the sun is out.
SHIRT-DRESSES
Not a particular favourite trend of mine, however shirts have elongated into dresses for the Springtime. This is a very casual look that can be dressed up easily by wearing a beautiful thin coat or blazer, while slipping into some high stilettos. Conservative yet unique and fun.
YELLOW
Yellow is one of my least favourite colours but for some people, this colour is the perfect touch during summer, a bright yellow dress with beautiful, tanned, glowing skin. If you don't wear yellow too often and want to try it out, keep in mind your complexion - different tones of yellow suit different people more/less, so a mustard may look great on your best friend, but makes you look like well.. a hotdog with mustard. There are some nice pale shades similar to cream, bright banana yellow, metallic golds and neon for the risk-takers.
GINGHAM
Simply put, tiny black and white checks are in! Use as a statement bag, pair of heels or as the models below on a mid-length skirt or dress nipped with a belt at the waist to accentuate those womanly curves.
BLACK & WHITE // BLUE & WHITE
Black and white has always been recognised as a great combo for any outfit, that remains for the beginning of this year. If you don't want such a contrast and want to be more subtle, blue and white is just as much in and looks great for the summer months - sailor style galore.
HEAD-TO-TOE WHITE
For those warm summer nights on this Mediterranean island, let's add a long white dress along with our tanned skin. If you have very fair skin, just wear a bold red lipstick and bronze your cheekbones and you are more than ready to hit the catwalk (posts about makeup looks for the summer are being prepared as we speak).
BAGGY DENIM
Decorative denim is in, and so is baggy denim, the baggier the better! Wear with a tight fitting top so as to not cover up your silhouette.
FLOWERS
No surprise that flowers are here for the Spring, they can be in all shapes, sizes and patterns and will make you bloom in a long maxi dress or cute playsuit.
MIDRIFF-BEARING
Midriff-bearing clothing from the 90s is also back with a modern twist as seen below.
FRINGES
Just like every year, the bohemian in us comes out for Spring and Summer and we begin to resemble hippies more and more until late Fall hits. This season, the 60s have brought in a large amount of fringing on the catwalk seen on skirts, dresses, tops, trousers, kimonos, and everything you can think of. Be natural, be you and add some fringing to your outfit.
