Good evening, it's me once again reporting back to let you all know what is happening in my life at this very moment in time! This weekend has been quite relaxed overall, and I did have the shoot at the Phoenicia on Friday morning. That was for an executive event, and I was mostly filming the VIPs' speeches however I did take a couple of shots here and there and will be showing them to you all very soon. Unfortunately I was extremely sick and had fever on the shoot, so it was not the most enjoyable time for me, but work is work, and if it's important I must go through with it! (Notice the positivity - would not have been so happy about it if I had to describe how I was feeling on the day haha!) But as you all know, a while ago I had my external hard-disk freak out on me, which was quite stressful and once I got it back, I have been trying to find time to actually sort out all my photos, videos, documents, etc. since 2007 approximately and today was the day! I have basically just realised that I have at least another three full days of trying to sort everything out! My photography has always been in organised folders but everything else is all over the place, and I have had this urge lately to organise everything in my life. I am hoping that by the end of this week all the things will be in their right place.
As for my weekend in general? Well Saturday it was International Women's Day (holla to the chicks x) and I got a little surprise from Fred : a plastic rose, because all the flower stores were closed on a Saturday at 4pm (keep in mind, it will last forever at least) and a cute Me to You teddy along with a caramel egg chocolate :) We also went with Dan to the aquarium, which was quite lovely. I had been with a friend of mine called Camila just a couple of months ago for the first time, but it was time to visit the underwater world again, I felt. Here are just a couple of pictures I took with my phone while I was there :)
Yesterday was pretty much a usual, relaxing Sunday and in the evening, Fred, Dan and I had gone for some Indian At Sharma, which is a great Indian/Arabian/Mediterranean restaurant in Mdina. It was my second time going, and again, it has surpassed by expectations. I am not really keen on very spicy foods, and I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala by mistake instead of the Chicken Korma, which I really like. It was still amazing! Took a couple of more gulps of water, but it was all good in the end! I also shared some Pitta bread with hummus dip and Kulcha bread with Fred, YUM. Whilst we were there, there was a small leaflet mentioning another restaurant called THEOS which is also in Mdina and it specialises in Greek, Ottoman and Calabrian dishes - looks fantastic and I had a look at their website and some photos of the interiors for the place, and it looks absolutely gorgeous, well worth visiting soon! Perhaps in the weekend :)
Last but not least, what's happening this week for me? Well tomorrow I have a shoot at a retail store called FUSHIA in Sliema for their handbags and interiors. Looking very forward to that and I am also planning a Spring-inspired shoot with an upcoming stylist, so that's quite exciting, and I will update you all on what's happening next in my life on Thursday! Lots of love xo
