First Destination : LONDON TOWN!

11:42

I had a dream last year. That dream was to move to London by March this year. While this goal in my life has not drifted away, I have intentionally changed my plans recently and decided that travelling, in general, would satisfy my wanderlust for this year and that is why I'll be trying to visit as many countries and cities as my jobs allow for 2015. Obviously, it is no surprise that my first destination this year is London, a place I have forever called my second home ever since I first visited years ago.

You know how New York is called the 'City of Bright Lights'? Well, that's London for me since I am not able to travel too far and wide at the moment. London brings me alive. London gives me a reason to wander alleys and parks and meet friendly strangers passing through the beauty that I would be currently in at that moment. I can't count the numerous times I visited the Natural History Museum or Winter Wonderland. London Eye? Been there. Tate Modern. Done that. Yet every time I go back to this city I can't wait to visit all these beautiful sights once again. This time however is going to be slightly different. I will be jetting off at the end of February and will be staying there for less than a week, cramming all the new places I would like to visit with one of my best friends in a bit over 2 days.

Without giving too much away, a special journey to Somerset House for snaps of London Fashion Week will be on my itinerary along with visiting massive high-end department stores such as Selfridges&Co., Harrods, John Lewis and many more. I will be strolling through Hyde Park and sipping on tea at cafes, stuffing my face with sushi and energizing myself with pressed juices. Until then though, any places I should visit in particular that are not well known to the general public? Any secret hippie hide-outs? Fashionistas go-to lounges, awesome malls or a great gig? Let me know in the comments below, I'd love to hear what you all have to say about the ever-loved London Town.
