Mercedez-Benz Malta Fashion Week has begun, and it has started off with yesterday's Private Launch Party at The Londoner, Smart City. As always, it is a common gesture to greet familiar faces that you wouldn't have seen for the past year, because with all our busy schedules and creative endeavours, it does get incredibly difficult to meet up with so many people. Last evening, however, was a beautiful one - a meeting between old friends and new, while sipping on white wine and filling ourselves with scrumptious canapés all catered by Medasia Fusion Lounge.
I wore an elegant black lace dress and paired it with rose gold heels. As for the jewellery, I opted for Sif Jakobs, which I had picked out on my visit to 202 Jewellery a couple of days ago. Although Sif Jakobs hails from Iceland, she established her company in Denmark and is inspired by Italian design. The mix of Nordic background and Italian elegance has produced a minimalist luxurious feel to her jewellery which I desired for my look this evening. One of the biggest jewellery trends at the moment is mixing all metal colours, so instead of going for rose gold to match my shoes, I chose the Panzano silver set with zirconia.
